Somewhere deep in the heart of Vancouver B.C. lurks a creative kinda guy who has harnessed the magical powers of musical theatre to bring joy to Fiverr users.

That guy is Colin, aka abcdawg. You can call him Dawg.

Dawg came to Fiverr by way of Regretsy.com, having seen the Dancing Dror uproar over there and realizing here was a way to bank a little extra change. He’s got 75 gigs under his musical comedy belt to date and more in the queue. We knew that when you do custom work for people, you run into some funny stories. Here’s one: He is now the personal songwriter for a 2 year old girl, who just adores his videos. Wait, is that a Nickelodeon talent scout on the phone?

By far Dawg’s most difficult gig has been the Hot Dog Song. Sing along, if you can.

Musician and sound engineer Brodafin‘s storied Fiverr career includes crafting songs for weddings, birthdays, guys trying to get back with their girlfriends, Valentine’s Day, anniversaries and more, with his own special fondness for the music of the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Working out of a sophisticated home recording studio, Fiverr gig income allows him to sweeten his setup even more with new instruments and newer gear. He caught the Fiverr wave early and is both a Featured Seller and a Top Rated Seller.

Brodafin savors a challenge and when he was asked to create a jingle overnight for a popular UK morning radio program, the James and Gemma Show, he really came through. The show’s producers loved it.

We thought for sure we’d stump him when we asked if he could do a Frankie Valli falsetto but he said, yep, thanks to recording studio magic, he can hit the high notes.

It’s a pity this blog can’t sing to you because if it had the talent of Stephanie Bauchum (sbauchum), it would warble in 3-part harmony.

Noting her brand-new jingle gig is drawing a lot of attention, we asked Stephanie to tell us a little about herself.

Well, I was born into a musical family and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music, emphasis Music Technology, from the University of Central Missouri. I’ve been singing and making music with my sister, Jessica, since I was a little girl. Most of my musical background comes from church and school, however I’ve always wanted to branch out and share my music everywhere. I started writing songs in high school and recently started turning my “diddles and bop bop’s” into jingles! I’m in the process of building up my jingle portfolio, working on music with Bauchum Sisters Music, along with my sister, and singing with my singing group By Design. Andy’s back! andythemusicman will write an amazing piano song for you with lyrics for $5

Readers of our Best of Fiverr blog might remember last year that London pianist and composer Andy Johnson wrote a moving, poetic melody for us. Sometime after that, his life got busy as lives so often do and he left Fiverr for a while.

Now he’s back as andythemusicman and offering up songs with lyrics this time. He says, “I can write a brilliant song for you, for a loved one, birthday, wedding, for a special occasion of any kind. My music is heartfelt, deep, emotional, stirring, passionate, and of course, perfectly crafted little gems of music just for you!”

As it turned out, one of us suffered a series of illnesses over winter and spring. Not to worry; nothing life-threatening and we’re completely recovered. Our spouse was in hyperprotective mode all the time, having morphed from a sweet guy into an overanxious parent, trying to supervise us every moment of the day, questioning everything we do and every meal we order. We told Andy we know he does this because he’s anxious about us. We asked him if there was any way to put into a song that we’re not going anywhere, we will always be here for him, we know that he’s concerned but there’s really no reason to worry?

He took on the assignment with gusto and proclaimed, “I’m like a musical therapist!”
